Ecological Section Desai, manisha [1]. Phenological study of some dry deciduous Forest tree species of Shamlaji Forest, North Gujjarat, India. Phenology is the study of growth of buds leaf flushing, anthesis, fruiting and leaf fall in relation to seasons or year with climatic factors. It is important for the study of plant animal interactions which affect pollination and dispersal, and important for plant reproduction. The present study deals with the phonological data of 19 forest tree species. Observations on leaf fall, new foliage, flowering and fruiting had been recorded. This data is useful to analyses the phonological pattern of tree species in the dry deciduous forest along distribution gradient to understand the response of tree species to climate factor and the periodicity. Broader Impacts: Helpful to save forest and in conservation of some distinct species Log in to add this item to your schedule
