A new species of Hieracium from Turkey.

A new species of Hieracium is described from Uludag Mountain (Bursa province, northwest Anatolia, Turkey). It belongs to sect. Cernua (Asteraceae) and it is closely related to H. managettae Freyn, but it differs from this species in having simple stem, larger and entire basal leaves, and glabrous phyllaries. Diagnostic characters, a key to related species in Turkey and figures of new species are provided and its conservation status is discussed.
