The essentials of grant writing.

Writing grants is an exercise in which graduate students, post-doctoral researchers, and faculty members often participate. However, beginning to do so, understanding all of the components and responsibilities of writing a grant application, and administering a successful grant can be a challenging task. This discussion will provide students and post-doctoral researchers with the opportunity to hear from and ask questions of researchers and faculty members involved in grant writing and administration. Panelists will represent various botanical disciplines and will provide their own approach to the process. This discussion will allow students to better understand the challenges and nuances of the grant writing and grant administration processes.
